The Island Club is an exciting new venue for young people, set right in the heart of Brixham. With live music, DJ's, big screen entertainment and the very latest video games, the club is already becoming one of the hottest places in town to hang out with friends. As well as a large sound system, twin CD decks, Karaoke facility's and state of the art lighting and retro arcade games along with several PS2's PS3, XBox and Nintendo Wii game consoles, there's a chill out area with cushions and board games, sports option in the adjacent Scala Hall, and a non-alcoholic bar selling J2O's, cans and a variety of tuck, all of which can be enjoyed in the dance and seating area, while perhaps watching one of the eight TV screens scattered around the 3 level venue!
The Island Club, situated in the Brixham Baptist Church Hall by Brixham's bus station and taxi rank, is now open (during term time) on Friday evenings 6.00-7.30pm for children (school years 3-6), 7:00-8:30pm (school years 7-8) and 8:00-9.30pm (schools years 9+. It costs just £1.00 for each child and 50p to use the inflatables then everything inside is free (except the tuck of course)!
